Scrapbooking without children

Scrapbooking without children - Is it possible?

There is a misconception that all scrapbookers seem to be women who have children, stay at home and have too much time on their hands. Firstly, everyone is entitled to do what they want with their free time, so I don’t see why stay-at-home mothers cannot as well. I digress, as I am not a stay at home mom.

Actually, I am not a mom at all, thus I break this scrapbooking stereotype. I am not out to have children anytime soon to justify my love of scrapbooking. Though the children's pages are cute and endearing, I love being able to have the freedom with both time and content to scrapbook more about myself and my family.

Once upon a time in the scrapbooking community, a scrapbooker without kids was rare; now, we have begun rising out the woodwork and are ever expanding within the scrapbooking world. Please raise your hand and be proud to be a childless scrapbooker. Who wants to make the bumper stickers?

1 - I am a college student of 19 almost 20 and I scrapbook daily. I think scrapping can be for anyone, but moms are the majority because they are trying to capture their children grow. (Comment this)
